I got the call from Amazon for the Fire Phone project — it was to develop cohesive motion graphic strategies and innovative icon design systems that enhanced user experiences across features like the Lock Screen and Podcast shopping, setting a new standard for engagement and functionality in a groundbreaking product.
Goals:
My goals for the Fire Phone project were twofold: first, to prove to myself that I could contribute meaningfully and thrive within a high-profile, cutting-edge initiative at one of the world’s leading tech companies. Second, I aimed to network and collaborate with some of the most talented and innovative minds in the industry, learning and growing alongside them on a project that pushed creative and technological boundaries.
Results:
The results of the Fire Phone project were transformative for me personally. I had the rare opportunity to work on a groundbreaking initiative with some of the industry's most brilliant minds, honing my skills and expanding my creative perspective. While the Amazon Fire Phone ultimately struggled in the marketplace, the experience was invaluable—both as a career milestone and as a source of inspiration. It reinforced my ability to thrive under high expectations and left me with lessons and connections that continue to shape my journey.
