Ask:
To create and design the FC Cincinnati Ezzard Charles TIFO for the home Miami match
Goals:
My goal for the FCC Tifo was to keep the design straightforward, ensuring it worked on the massive scale of a five-story painting created in the FCC garage. I aimed to make Ezzard Charles stand out as bold and powerful, with text that could be easily read from across TQL Stadium.
Results:
The FCC Tifo project was an incredible community effort, bringing together a team of passionate soccer fans in Cincinnati to create a massive five-story painting in just a few weeks. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to honor Ezzard Charles, the heavyweight boxing champion, by illustrating him in the heart of his hometown—the West End, Cincinnati, Ohio—celebrating the neighborhood’s rich history and vibrant community spirit. (This was Lionel Messi’s debut in Cincinnati, Ohio, a sold out match with Stub Hub tickets going for over $2K!)
