This after-dark collaboration with renowned photographer Aaron Doster (@doster) combined his stunning photography of @fccincinnati with custom illustration and animation to create a dynamic, looping visual featuring Gary the Lion of FC Cincinnati.
Creative Brief & Project Results
Ask:
Homemakers, a nationally acclaimed cocktail bar and eatery with the vibe of a lively house party, invited me to create a playful and expressive mascot for use on t-shirts and other promotional materials.
Goals:
The project began with inspiration from Aaron Doster’s jaw-dropping photoshoot with FC Cincinnati. After brainstorming and collaborating, we developed the idea of showcasing Gary the Lion performing a skateboard ollie at Nippert Stadium.
Results:
The result was a quick-hit animation loop that combined photography, illustration, and music into a cohesive and engaging piece. The project celebrated the creativity and talent of the FC Cincinnati community and highlighted the synergy of visual art, animation, and sound.
