Ask:
Ohio Knife (my project from 2010-2020) wanted to create their first video, “Going Down,” a tune originally written by Don Nix and performed by Freddie King.
Goals:
The 2012 music video for Ohio Knife’s rock-and-roll track “Going Down” (originally written by Don Nix and performed by Freddie King) aimed to introduce the new band to a wider audience, breathe fresh life into a classic song, and deliver a creative experience that was as exciting to make as it was to watch.
Results:
The result was a dynamic and memorable music video that perfectly captured the spirit of Ohio Knife while paying homage to a rock-and-roll classic. The project was an absolute blast, bringing together friends in our Northside neighborhood to create something super fun. Tim Willig stole the show with his incredible energy that made the experience as fun and rewarding as the final product itself.
