Creative Brief & Project Results

Ask:
To create and design a brand identity for Cincinnati Ohio’s largest neighborhood, Westwood Works.

Goals:
The overall goal was to update the Westwood Works look and feel to reflect the vibe of the neighborhood.

Results:
Taking the Mission Statement, “Purpose, Place & People,” I created a mark and a vibe that could carry throughout a neighborhood where the people would be proud, where people would celebrate and elevate each other. Big, bold, colorful and inviting — Let’s play!

Westwood Works

• We connect places and give people a sense of belonging through community events, creative streetscapes and play spaces, mini-grants, pedestrian safety efforts, and developing and investing in our neighborhood.

• We connect purpose by ensuring that inclusion, diversity, and community input are at the forefront of our efforts. We connect people to their passions and act as a positive liaison to community organizations.

• Create a more relevant, impactful, and modern logo that accurately represents our brand and is unique in our organizational sector. The logo must be used effectively across all media for marketing purposes, including print, website, and social media.

Jason was wonderful to work with. He ran with our input and offered several creative choices that perfectly fit our criteria. We asked him for something modern and updated that would also be classic enough to withstand time, and that would grow with our organization. That’s a hard combination, and he nailed it. We can’t wait to work together in the future!
