Ask:
In late summer, Working Not Working approached me with an exciting opportunity to create an illustration for their internal Welcome Guide. The concept centered around a dynamic, apocalyptic scene featuring a Conan-versus-robots theme, blending the nostalgia of 1980s HeMan and Transformers with a vision of triumph over evil.
Goals:
The goal was to produce a bold, memorable illustration that embodied the creative spirit of Working Not Working and set the tone for their guide, all while embracing a fun and imaginative approach.
Results:
The final illustration captured the vibrant, adventurous tone WNW sought, bringing energy and nostalgia to their Welcome Guide. It was a fantastic collaboration with an outstanding team, made even better by the opportunity to work with talented pros and Center (@centerbklyn).
This project was a highlight, showcasing how creative freedom and a shared vision can result in impactful, engaging work.
